Hi -

I'm not getting correct search results when using the taxonomy filters widget.

I also don't get a reset button even though I have that option checked.

An example page is here:  https://www.landmarkwest.org/san-juan-hill/sjh-test/

Thanks,

Deb Sher

Hello

on this page you have not configured the template for displaying results. please watch these  videos - https://wp-filter.com/video-tutorials#video_1291 AND https://wp-filter.com/video-tutorials#video_1293

I also don't get a reset button - https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20220425072442.png ( This button is  visible  only when there is a search request. )

Hi -

I did watch the videos before I opened a support ticket and I've just watched the one pertaining to search results for taxonomies again.

I have it set up just as you explained:  in MDTF settings output is set to 'search' (I also tried 'archive').  Output settings in the widget are left empty.

When I run a search from the widget the page doesn't go anywhere.   It does put the dynamic text"2 results found" at the top of the widget.

What could I be doing incorrectly?

This is the page:  https://www.landmarkwest.org/san-juan-hill/sjh-test/

Thanks,
Deb

Hello

What could I be doing incorrectly? - Check the link to the result page  and  paste  a shortcode - https://wp-filter.com/features/shortcode-meta_data_filter_results/ on this  page

If  no  luck  - drop  me wp-admin+FTP access - https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20210618130558.png ->https://share.stackovergo.com/image/i20210618130637.png

Hi -

Does this work if I'm using the filters in a widget instead of using a shortcode?

Thanks,

Deb

Hi -

I'm going to take another day to try to figure out and if I can't I'll send you access.   The filters are placed on pages dynamically through a conditional sidebar.  I don't know where to place the shortcode you refer to in your document, but I'll try again and let you know.

Thanks,
Deb

Hello Deb

Yes, you can use the widget or a shortcode to display the filter

But you also need to use another shortcode to display results -  https://wp-filter.com/features/shortcode-meta_data_filter_results/
