I'm using a short code to get your filters on the page, then a standard woocommerce function as follows. Why would this not be working? Is this not a standard woocommerce function? I've also tried just [woof_products] and that does not work either.

[do_widget id=woof_widget-2]

[products category="shoe-lasts"]

The weird thing is that I was certain this was working at one point, but now it is not.

Suggestions?

Thanks,

Sam

Hello Sam

I've also tried just [woof_products] and that does not work either. - Very strange!

It looks like a third party script is interfering with the search query

Did  you do any  code  customizations?

Try  to disable all  plugins except woo+woof, install  another  theme   and  do a test

I tried disabling all plugins except woo and woof and loaded another theme, same problem.

But I did figured out what I'm doing differently that triggered these issues. I've switched to Posts instead of Pages. In other words, the code below is on a Post:

[do_widget id=woof_widget-2]

[products category="shoe-lasts"]

I'm doing this for SEO reasons, building a kind of hiarchy. Is there some way to make your plugin still work on posts?

Thanks,

Sam

Hello Sam

I've switched to Posts instead of Pages. - it doesn't matter at all. the plugin works the same on the pages and  on the posts

Here is the page it is working on: https://podohub.com/testpage/

Here is the post it is not working on: https://podohub.com/shoe-lasts-for-sale/

It's the exact same code. Even when I disable all plugins except woo and woof and change theme, same result, it works on the page, not the post.

When I sort for gender male, the search urls are the exact same except the slug:

https://podohub.com/shoe-lasts-for-sale/?swoof=1&pa_gender-age=mens
https://podohub.com/testpage/?swoof=1&pa_gender-age=mens

But the page shows results whereas the post says no results found.

What could be going on here? How can I get it to work on posts?

Thanks,

Sam

Hello Sam

OK!  Try  in  Advanced->Options - > https://c2n.me/4a1VuB3.png and  do  a test

That worked, thanks!

Hello

Welcome;)

I keep coming up with more questions, sorry... This one is subtle compared to the others though...

Is there someway to have the number next to the filter account for what other filters have already been chosen?

Here's an example.

Say I have two filters, gender and heel height. I have 5 mens shoes and 5 womens shoes, so the number 5 is shown next to both mens and womens. Now say the customer filters for mens. And now they look at the heel height filter. High heel should have a 0 next to it because I don't have any high heel mens shoes. But instead it still shows a 1 because it doesn't account for other filters chosen (gender mens). Can this be fixed?

Thanks,

Sam

Hello Sam

Please  drop me  exact  link  to the  issue

Check  options please - https://c2n.me/4a3LVqi.png

That worked great. For some reason the"Hide Empty Terms" option was greyed out and stuck at"No". But changing the dynamic option to yes did the trick.

Thanks!

Sam
