"Invalid currency code" only when using cryptocurrencies (ETH/LTC) -- USD/GBP not affected

I have WooCurrency (WooCS) 1.4.8 free version installed on my website (theindoleshop.com). I have a few problems running it. I tried adding ethereum and litecoin to my site. Both are listed as default currencies in the dropdown menu under WooCommerce -> Settings -> Currency -> Currencies.
However when I go to the checkout page I keep getting the"Invalid currency code" error.
How can I fix this problem? I tried checking the forums for solutions and none of them satisfy my issue. As these are cryptocurrencies they don't have official ISO 4217 codes. Should i try entering a different currency code? I am using the codes"ETH" and"LTC", these are the official currency codes used for ethereum and litecoin and they don't have any other alternatives.
Is there a glitch in the plugin where it doesn't recognize cryptos? When I try check out with bitcoin, GBP, Euro, CAD and USD it works completely fine. It works fine with fiat currencies. It is not working for cryptos. I double checked to make sure im using the default currency codes provided by the plugin and i didnt alter them at all.
