Hello,

I want my visitors to able to search by condominium/house brands.

 

For example, some visitors might want to see only posts related to brand"XX" &"YY".

 

However, in my filter, when any checkbox is clicked, all other checkboxes in the same criteria go to zero count number:

All go to zero count

 

How can I allow visitors to select multiple checkboxes?

The"AJAX items recount" seem to come into effect immediately after a checkbox is ticked, rendering all other checkboxes in that same criterion = zero count

hi,

 

Yes, they are the meta fields I created (They are not taxonomies)

For example, I created the meta field"car brands" where selection values include"toyota, bmw, honda"

However, it seems that on frontend when I click the checkbox of"toyota", all other results (bmw, honda) = zero (0)

So you don't have posts that have these three meta fields at the same time

My website is about gathering all promotions (car promotions, condo promotions, food promotions) into one website for convenience.

And each promotion can only be about one brand (example: toyota car promotion --> cannot be both Toyota brand AND BMW Brand)

 

However, for other filter criteria such as"price", some posts can have both. For example, Toyota cars AND BMW cars promotion posts can both fall into 1-2 Million THB AND 2-4 Million THB checkboxes range.

You are trying to do a search:  Get post that have BMW - You do not have such products with BMW  AND Toyota

Another  search: Get post that have  the  price between 1 and 2 Million  - you have products with the price between 1 and 2 Million   and  BMW    OR  you have products with the price between 1 and 2 Million   and Toyota

I mean, if I want to search for results that meet the following conditions, I cannot do that:

 

  1. Brand = toyota or brand = BMW (matches either BMW or matches Toyota)

 

--> Because clicking on Toyota results in I cannot click on BMW anymore.

This is not possible for a meta filter.

Try  to  use a  taxonomy
