Hi,

We noticed after making a sale in PLN currency for zł73.50 within our merchant account transactions it showed as £78.50.
We need to fix this overcharging.

So, I tried changing the 'is multiple allowed' to 'no'
This then shows the correct amount in £s within the checkout, but then the currency is locked to showing £s on the checkout page.
The customer will only want to see the currency they are paying in.

Look forward to an answer on this.

Thanks

Hello

Braintree account - This is the functionality of a third-party plugin.

read  this please - https://currency-switcher.com/woocs-labs/

Hi,

We just have 1 issue.

When 'Is multiple allowed' is set to 'Yes' the user sees everything correctly in their currency, but the money deducted from them in £'s is of the same figure. So for PLN for example that is over 5times the amount they should be paying. (for example, zł10.00 is what they see £10.00 is what they are charged).

When 'Is multiple allowed' is set to 'No' the user sees everything correctly in their currency until they get to the basket, it is then showing £'s the correct amount, they are also getting charged the correct amount. So, for now, I have it set on this. I have also removed the selector from the basket page, as it has no effect on this page, it will only ever show pounds, due to multiple set to no.

So, how do we have it set up to work so that they see their selected currency within the basket, but be charged the correct amount in pounds? Do we have to buy the plugin? Is this a common issue? Or do we need to use a different currency plugin?

I hope you can help here, it is important for us to get this working correctly ASAP.

Many thanks
Mark T

Hello

please describe in more detail what should I do to get this error

Hello

if it is a live site - create clone of it by https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ and send me access there (wp-admin + ftp)  because I afraid to broke your site

Thanks will be in touch again ASAP.

Hello

Ok!

Hi Pablo, there is now a duplicated site, you can test on here, https://duplicator.giftstomorrow.co.uk/wp-admin/ you can use the same login for FTP and admin.

The error we are getting is when we use 'is multiple allowed' 'yes' the user sees their currency throughout the purchase and it all looks as though they are paying the correct amount. But when we look at our merchant account transactions the figure is the same but in pounds. So, for example, people using PLN will have spent 5 times the amount.

When we use 'is multiple allowed' 'no' the user sees their currency until the checkout, then it only will show pounds. The transactions are then all correct but we need the user to only see their currency, not pounds.

Hope we can find a fix :)

Many thanks

Hello

I checked - it looks like my plugin is transferring the correct currency

Please write  to  Braintree support.  Ask if they support this PLN currency.
