Hello,

I am currently testing the free version of this plugin to see if it will match my needs for my site. So far I have a big issue that the welcome currency shows in USD, and does not give me an option to change it to anything else. My base currency (set to 1) is set up as euros, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't let me select that as an option to change it to EUR.

Please let me know how I can resolve this. Otherwise, this will not be the plugin to work for us.

Thank you,

Erica

Hello Erica

Please watch a  video - https://currency-switcher.com/video#video_1

Drop me  a  link to your site

Hi Pablo,

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, the video doesn't solve the issue. I know where to change the welcome currency... the issue is that it doesn't show any other option but USD (I require EUR).

I would add a screenshot, but the comment box doesn't allow me to insert an attachment.

The site is: boutique.lovelythinkings.com

Hello Erica

I checked  it - https://c2n.me/4dzY3HU - everything seems to be working correctly

as described in the video "the welcome currency" - Works only for the first visit of the user, then the plugin stores the last currency of the user

if you want to check it - go to your site from another device and use a different internet connection point

Hello,

Thanks for following up, however, this does not solve the problem. I do not want the welcome currency to be in USD as my business is based in Europe, and I don't want first time users in my location to have to change the currency. I have seen on your previous video that setting the welcome currency to EUR is an option. Why do I not have this option?

This is fundamental to if I will continue to use this plugin or not - and one that I am planning to use the premium version. Meanwhile, I thought this was a simple solution.

Thank you

Hello Erica

What plugin version number are you using?

I would add a screenshot, but the comment box doesn't allow me to insert an attachment. - Use services to transfer images by link OR  paste  images  in your  site  and  drop me a link

It's version

Clear  all  cache  and  do a test

Hello,

It seems my last response might not have went through. I was already on the updated version of the plugin. I've cleared the cache, and the result is the same.

Can you advise where I can go to get the license key?

Thank you,

Erica

Hello,

Where can I find the license key?

The plugin was already up to date. I cleared the cache. I still only have the option for USD as the welcome currency.

Hello

To get  license  key - https://codecanyon.net/downloads -> https://c2n.me/49ZXJv0.png

I was already on the updated version of the plugin - ok! What plugin version number are you using now?

Hello,

The license key is not listed there in my account, as I did not download the plugin from code canyon. I installed from wordpress. I am currently on the free version to test if this will be a solution for our site first.

The version is the same:

v.2.3.6.1

Hello

This is not true, you are using the paid version of the plugin

If you haven't downloaded it from envato - I highly recommend uninstalling the plugin and checking your site with antivirus

We do not support plugins downloaded from third-party resources

Hello,

Okay, not sure what happened there. So I've uninstalled the plugin on your suggestion, and reinstalled the free version again from wordpress. It seems to have solved the problem!

Thank you for the help,

Erica

Hello Erica

Great! Always use plugins from official sources only
