Edit* I am using shipping dimensions as size** should I change all products to attributes?

My plugin is a product filter and does not affect product data. The filter does not add any attributes, it just does a search by their value
All attributes and product data were added by you. And unfortunately I don't know how to change the data type.
But as far as I know, all taxonomies (attributes, categories, tags) are strings and they do not work with mathematical operations. You need to use meta fields
