Quote from netmined on November 5, 2022, 20:17Hello,
we've had the premium version of this plugin installed in our store for quite a few years now.
The website is www.1950sglam.com
After we updated to the latest version on Tuesday, the switcher immediately stopped working. It stopped geolocating and when we tried to manually change the currency, it didn't. (the symbol changed but not the actual prices, they stayed in USD, the anchor currency).
We have had this kind of issue happen before over the years so we have tried all the usual suspects - changing the Currency Storage settings, checking that none of the other settings had been accidentally reset as a result of the update. We also read some of the most recent support threads on this site including the conflict one user had with the Swift Performance Lite caching plugin so we added the cookie exception as suggested to Swift. This didn't fix it. In the end, we've disabled this caching plugin all together. Still no change.
We didn't do any other work on the site or add any plugins to the site which could have caused the issue. It simply happened immediately after the last update.
Could you please advise what the issue and how we can fix this asap as it is a live store.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

Looks like the switcher is working again. Thank you very much. :)
Could you please let us know what you did so that we can fix it ourselves in the future?
Also, we disabled the caching plugin we had on the site (Swift Performance Lite) when the currency switcher stopped working. So now we don't have any active caching plugin on the site. Can we activate Swift Lite again or will it cause a conflict with WOOCS? If Swift Lite isn't compatible, please let us know of a couple good caching plugins that we could use instead (which don't conflict with WOOCS).
Many thanks once again for your help.

You are using this plugin - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20221109094518.png - this was the cause of the problem with switching the plugin
I have added an exception for cookies - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20221109095056.png

Thank you very much for the explanation.
We have had the Limit Login Attempts plugin for a number of years so the problem must have crept in only at this plugin.
Regarding the caching, can we now reactivate the Swift Lite plugin or will it cause a conflict? Which plugins do you recommend with WOOCS?

Sorry I made a mistake in the screenshot - https://c2n.me/4h5t1ve.png - I meant this caching plugin. And I don't think you need multiple caching plugins (it doesn't increase efficiency)

Thank you for clarifying which plugin it was.
So can we now reactivate the Swift Lite plugin (and switch off the Lite Speed Cache) or will Swift Lite cause a conflict with WOOCS? Which caching plugins do you recommend with WOOCS?

Unfortunately, I can't recommend a specific caching plugin for you. Compatibility depends on caching plugin settings
So can we now reactivate the Swift Lite plugin - You can try this plugin, but I did the settings in Lite Speed Cache
