Not even updating the column profile; you have to create a new one from the screen and then delete the old one.
It's not that unusual to want to copy the settings and metakey list.

Thank you for suggestion, but I need clarification - do you mean: columns profiles, meta keys, or exact clone of settings and options?
I was mainly thinking about the column profile.
An external backup to save on your PC and upload to the site.
And then also the metadata backup, to be uploaded if necessary.
Suppose someone wants to rebuild WordPress from scratch to clean up the database. There's no way to save and upload the various column profiles or the metadata (one could have a lot of them).
I've also always found the"column profile management" very inconvenient. For now, I rarely use the product search profiles.
Basically, I can't make a small change to the column profile and just say save. No, I have to make the change, save a new column profile, and then delete the old profile to avoid an endless list.
Keep in mind that for me, column profiles can be:
a profile for inserting new products
a stock profile
a cost profile
a video profile...
Sometimes I need to change maybe just a position, insert a new meta... and you have to go through the whole"save" process.

By the way, I'm still looking forward to the possibility of creating a custom profile column, where they can add a link and a shortcode that complements it to provide a direct link to another plugin's structure. That would be nice, but I didn't feel like modifying the code like you mentioned a while ago.
