Hi,

We have the shop with prices showing inc. VAT/Tax

We then use this fantastic plugin to set the price of products for specific countries (mainly Africa)

In the USA, the price of a product is calculated on the UK price ex VAT, however, it remains as the £ symbol

Is is possible, to add USA to the drop down list but not alter the prices, so if anyone selects USA from the dropdown OR view the site from the USA, the £ symbol becomes $

Or can you only do this if you set an exchange rate?

Hopefully, that makes sense!?

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly. Do  you mean fixed prices?

Can  you  drop me  screenshots  of  your  settings?

Hi Pablo

Thanks for the reply. Basically, is it possible to add the $ to the drop down, so if someone clicks it, the currency converts from £ to $ without having to set an exchange rate or by adding a fixed price to the products?

You  can  set  rate  as  1  and disable automatic rate update
