Hi,

We are using your Husky plugin, on our website https://tirebros24.com/ and it takes too much time to load. At first, the search combination comes too slow around 12 sec But when we refresh the same page again it comes in 2 sec.

Not sure why it working, is there something you can FIX for us OR show us any setting that might cause this,

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Our Purchase code is: PRIVATE DATA!

Best Wishes

Hello

Please  read  this - https://products-filter.com/searching-is-slow

Hi,

Thank you for the response. Following are the things we have :

1) use cache plugins, for example this one :==> Yes, We Already have W3TotalCache

2) switch off ‘dynamic recount‘ in the filter and ‘hide empty terms‘ options :==> Sorry we can't Switch OFF that as we want to hide empty term option.

3) use Autoptimize :==> Yes, We Already have that.

4) add more memory to your wp site :==> We have that Setup 2048M

5) Use PHP 7.x or even better PHP 8.x.x :==> Yes, we have that.

6) also in tab Advanced->Options try to activate ‘Cache dynamic recount number for each item in filter‘ OR ‘Cache terms‘ if your seacrh form has a lot of terms :==> Yes we alreay set that.

7) Also its possible to hide seacrh for at all and it will be shown on demand. In the widget set ‘Yes‘ to ‘Hide search form by default and show one button instead‘, in shortcode [woof] use attribute ‘start_filtering_btn‘ :==> Yes, we already set that.

We still didn't get good Speed.

Please advise.

Thank you.

Hello

You have a lot of taxonomies, for each taxonomy (this is how you configured the plugin), the filter will make a request to get the counter.  Of course almost a thousand requests will take some time

But even in this case, filtering does not take much time(caching-aware).

If you want to use dynamic recalculation and speed up the filter - reduce the number of taxonomies. Where possible replace this with metadata

Ok,

Is there is no other way, other than removing the taxonomy.
Actually we need these taxonomy because of search, we have around 30,000 products. Which increase the taxonomy size accordingly.

Please advise the best solution for this.

Awaiting your reply.

As I wrote in a previous post, you can replace some taxonomies with meta fields

And now we are preparing a new plugin update with more optimized caching.  But it's still a cache and needs to be"warmed up" for fast work.

Ok, can we add filter with meta data ?

Hello

Read  this please - https://products-filter.com/extencion/woocommerce-filter-by-meta-fields

You can add data on the product side using custom fields - https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/wordpress-custom-fields-101-tips-tricks-and-hacks/

Hi Pablo,

I checked that meta Field thing, I don't think it will help us as we can't add static Fields in there.

AND

We checked the term table, it's now reduced to"2722 total". We deleted a lot of terms from the backend. But the search is still slow. I added the updated password in Private data. Can you please look into the backend Again?

Thank you.

Hello

I did  a test (disabled style attribute)  - Filtering takes about 5 seconds(Reducing terms increases filtration speed)

I don't think it will help us as we can't add static Fields in there. - I'm not sure I understand you. Meta data is a great alternative to taxonomy.

Hi Pablo,

For" meta Field" how can we get all the"Style" Values? For example "Wheel Style" am saving in the meta field"style", but how can i get all the Style value.

Can you please log in and configure that?

Do we need to Add all the styles over here? Like that need to be added manually?

Hi Pablo,

Can you please guide me, is there a way, we can add Conditions, according to the category,

For example, we have two categories Tires & Wheels. We want"Style" to show only for the"Wheels" Category, can we somehow add the condition to show"Style" only on the condition that the current page is the"Wheel" category?

If this thing possible, we can Add the Different conditions according to Category Page & speed will improve.

Please advise on this.

Best Wishes
