Hi, when searching for a product, the search results show 0 results if the term includes an apostrophe:

https://rookespetproducts.co.uk/?s=Butcher%27s&post_type=product shows 0 results.

https://rookespetproducts.co.uk/?s=Butchers&post_type=product shows 11 results.

If I disable WOOF, then both of the searches above work perfectly.

Plugin Version 3.3.0, WordPress 6.2.2.

Edit: I found this post https://pluginus.net/support/topic/issue-with-apostrophe-in-search-by-text-field/, but I cannot find that line of code in by_text - perhaps it's changed since the post date? There is also a by_text2 folder.

Thank you for any help.

Hello Jackson

Share please purchase code in the secret area https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230807131625.png with active support

Just checked with the latest version https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230808162302.png - works, please update to v.3.3.4.2 and try ...

Resolved. I can confirm updating to the latest version (I didn't realise it was available) from CodeCanyon fixes the issue. Thank you!

Update: It works on our staging copy but not the live website. I have flushed all caches.

Update: seems to be a conflict with SearchWP"Customisations" plugin provided by the developers to try and resolve this search issue. Unknown what changes were made with this plugin and why it showed 0 results.

The query debug showed results but caused HUSKY not to show any filtered results.

Hello Jackson

No another plugins required, please do next:

  • disable all plugins except woocommerce and HUSKY
  • do tests
  • if ok, one by one enable plugins and see results
  • also for test switch to basic theme and test, maybe any script in functions.php of the current wp theme do smth
  • if no luck in the secret area https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230807131625.png share access to the site, maybe ftp also will be ok
