We are currently experiencing a missmatch in different occasions with the value from orders converting to the value displayed in the WooComerce Analytics page. The issue occurs when the orders we get are in SEK, as the WooComerce default value we have is EUR. In many cases the difference is really big so this creates problems with our financial reports. We contacted WooComerce and they mentioned that the problem comes from your plugin as the conversion from SEK to EUR is wrong in different occasions.

 

Please let us know how this can be fixed.

We think that we do not have an active license key. How can we get one on Envato?

We copy pasted the license key as instructed. What are the steps to update the plugin to the latest version? We already have the old version mentioned above.

Thank you for the reply. We are already followed these steps but when trying to install the new plugin we get this error:

"Destination folder already exists. wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-currency-switcher/

Plugin installation failed."

 

Is this because we are currently using the old version? Is there a way to update iit manualy and not via Envato?

Delete  the  old  version and  install  the   new  version

We succesfully installed the new one and followed all the steps to delete historical data on WooComerce analytics and imported everything again with the updated currency conversion plugin but the problem still exists. There are some days in the data where the conversion from SEK to EUR is completely wrong. This does not happen in general as in the majority of the days the conversions are correct, but in the ones that they are wrong the difference is really big.

Please let us know how to fix this.

Now new orders will be converted correctly in analytics

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for old orders because you used an old version of the plugin without the license.

But you can go to these old orders and convert them to the base currency, this should fix the analytics( don't forget to clear your analytics cache )

The problem is not in the order, as the conversion there is correct. The problem is that these conversions are tranfered wrong in the Woocommerce Analytics page. IN some cases the difference is really big. We contacted Woocommerce support and informed us that there is a problem with your plugin that transfers the converted currencies wrong in the Analytics page.

Ok! With a licensed new version of the plugin, the analytics for new orders will work correctly

The problem is not in the order, as the conversion there is correct. - Ok!  But data from orders goes to analytics.

After using the updatet plugin for a few days we noticed that new orders continue to be converted wrongly from SEK to EUR in the Woocomerce Analytics. Please let us know how we can fix this.
