Quote from Joanna on April 6, 2022, 01:42First in WooCommerce Multi-Currency I enabled most of the currencies in the settings and ticked 'Automatically switch customers to their local currency if it has been enabled'.
Then I installed WOOCS Currency Switcher ver. 1.3.7.5. However I realized that for the free version, the number of currency supported is just two. I decided not to upgrade and remain as the free version. Euro was set as the standard and US dollar as the second.
On the day, I started to sell a product for 19.50 euros. There was access from Japan and, according to the customer, although the number 19.50 was converted to 2,700 with the exchange rate of euro and Japanese Yen, the problem is that currency did not change into Japanese Yen and remained as euros and it became 2,700euro! The customer checked out with the wrong amount of 2,700euro, which is a huge amount compared to the original price.
Because of this I had to refund the whole amount to the customer and now I have to pay the fee of 78.55 euros, which is damaging my business. Is this caused by incompatibility between Multi-Currency and Currency Switcher free version?
Now it is too late, but if I knew this happens, I would never have enabled the Currency Switcher with the free version.
I don't feel comfortable about the damage caused by the system.

These two plugins will never work together.
These are two competing plugins that will 100% conflict.
Because these plugins perform the same functionality and this will inevitably lead to incorrect results.

In the instruction of WOOCS Currency Switcher, however, there is no so such statement about what you mention; the two plugins will lead to incorrect results.
I think the damage of my business is caused by your insufficient information. Could you compensate the damage?

We are not responsible for the fact that you configured the plugin incorrectly and did not do tests.
And you can also write to support of Multi-Currency - because it doesn't say that two currency switches cause a conflict. Also in support of the payment system and woocommerce - they did not indicate that there could be a conflict with currency switches
