When clicking on"update currency" this message is displayed: no data for USD $ (same for Euros).

Our default currency is Colombian pesos.

We are using OpenExchangeRates with a valid API key.

What could the issue be?

Thank you!

I don't need your aggregator's API key. Are you using the free API?

I have added the requested information to the private data area, as requested. Please resolve issue. Thank you!

Hello

Please write to the aggregator support, your plan does not support such currencies:

Changing the API `base` currency is available for Developer, Enterprise and Unlimited plan clients. Please upgrade, or contact support@openexchangerates.org with any questions

This does not make any sense. We are currently using the OpenExchangeRates API (FREE PLAN) on our live website using Colombian pesos as the default currency and it works perfectly using the WooCommerce Multi-currency plugin. I even tried using a different API (CurrencyAPI) on our staging environment and the same thing happened. We get an error on your plugin settings saying: no data for USD+%24

Please help us fix this issue or provide a refund if your plugin does not work with Colombian Pesos as the base currency. Thank you!

I just changed the currency aggregator to the finance.yahoo.com version, and your plugin is returning values of zero. Please provide a working solution. Thank you!

Hello

This does not make any sense.  -  This does not depend on my plugin at all, I received this answer from the currency service (without using my plugin) :

Changing the API `base` currency is available for Developer, Enterprise and Unlimited plan clients. Please upgrade, or contact support@openexchangerates.org with any questions

https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20240116105219.png - It looks like you inserted an invalid character. Just clear this field and enter the currency code manually

If no luck - drop me wp-admin access - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230222134241.png ->https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230222134615.png

None of this makes sense to me. We have now tried 3 or 4 different aggregators (some using paid accounts) and the rates are not updating. The latest attempt is using the paid version of Free Currency Converter. You will see this one is currently configured in your plugin with a valid API key. This is an aggregator that charges every time we place a request for an update. We started with 60 credits and now there are 54 credits because we tried three updates through your plugin, so obviously the plugin is connected to their service. The problem is that your plug-in is not receiving the data properly. Please log in as an admin and fix the issue. I have provided login details in the private data field. Thank you!

Hello

Ok! My test  -(with another aggregator and my API)  https://c2n.me/4k93akh     and   ( Free Currency Converter with your API )   https://c2n.me/4k93yYs

Yes, the plugin is working now, but the site speed is very slow with this plugin. It takes a long time for the currency switcher to load. Please login and check my settings or provide another solution so we can continue to use Fox Currency Switcher. I have updated your login information in the private data area. Thank you!

One more note related to the above issue, we are using NitroPack caching to speed up the page, but your plugin seems to be doing something to prevent optimization. Please advise. Thank you!

Hello

My plugin doesn't slow down your site!

https://c2n.me/4kaPBIb.png - this is just an animation and my plugin is not doing any work at this time. The script waits for the page to fully load and only after that the plugin renders the drop down

but your plugin seems to be doing something to prevent optimization.   -  please describe this in more detail. how did you get this data

I understand what you are saying, but the plug-in must load before waiting for the entire page to load. Please provide a solution or can I get a refund? We will not be able to use this plug-in unless it can load before the entire page loads. We were using your competitor's plug-in previously and it had no problem like this. Thank you!

Hello

Ok!  Please  use  this  option - https://c2n.me/4kbhQRa.png

I understand what you are asking me to do, but before I pay my developer to handle this task, please explain what is the difference?

Hello

This is a standard setting in the plugin, I don’t think a developer is needed to change one setting

This changes the type of switch, this is a standard type of dropdown that does not use JS libraries and means they do not need to be connected after the page has fully loaded

Unfortunately, this does not help with the issue. The plug-in just takes too long to load. We will not be able to use this. Can I request a refund?

Hello

As I wrote earlier, it depends on the loading speed of your site.
