Is the currency switcher compatible with directory websites?

Hi does FOX - Currency Switcher Professional for WooCommerce (old name is WOOCS) work with directory websites that have pricing on them? Essentially I am creating a property listing directory that will be international. The objective is to easily switch currencies. Please let me know. I am using Directorist theme (https://directorist.com/)

I need to clarify a few things to give you an accurate answer:

Does Directorist work with WooCommerce?

The key question is: how closely does Directorist integrate with WooCommerce for property listings?

  • If your property listings are created as WooCommerce products (or Directorist uses WooCommerce for pricing), then WOOCS should work correctly
  • If Directorist uses its own custom system for storing and displaying prices (separate from WooCommerce), then WOOCS will not work automatically

My recommendations:

  1. Test first: Download the free version of WOOCS and test it with your Directorist setup: https://currency-switcher.com/downloads
  2. If Directorist doesn't use WooCommerce products: You'll need a different solution. I recommend WP Currency Switcher (WPCS)  https://wp-currency.com/, but even with WPCS you'll need to wrap price values in shortcode https://wp-currency.com/shortcode/wpcs_price - otherwise prices are just plain text and won't be converted.
