I use the Event Calendar and Events Tickets plugins to sell tickets for events.  They are integrated with WooCommerce.  I have been using the Fox Currency switcher for a while  and initially when I started using the switcher it would change the currency on all the pages and then it stopped.  I now have the FOX - WooCommerce Currency Switcher Professional even though at this time I only need two currencies.

My site has JMD as the default currency but I allow people to convert to USD and pay in USD as well as JMD. the switcher works well on all pages that uses Woo commerce such as the cart and the checkout etc. However I am not able to get the switcher to work on the Single event page. which is an Events Calendar page.  This creates some confusion for customers viewing this page as they don't know if the amount is in JMD or USD. If I put something in the cart and then convert to the currency that I need, and then go back to single event page, it will show the cost in the currency that I have chosen for the specific ticket. If more than on price ticket is listed in the event , it sometimes shows one price in JMD and one price in USD which of course become even more confusing. I would like to see how I can get the currency switcher to work on the single event page.

Additionally I would like to show the Currency symbol and code on this page but even though I have put this in the settings under Display, it does not show.

I have reached out to Events Calendar but they have advised that the plugin is not set up to specifically work with a currency switcher and suggested that I could see if you could assist.  If this will take customised work to solve this problem I am willing to make arrangements to do that as it is now very confusing for my customers.  Please let me know if you need further information to assist.

My site is touchstonelink.com and and example of the page I am referring to can be seen on the link below.

Hello Marcia

Please read this - https://currency-switcher.com/woocs-labs

Describe in more detail all the incompatibilities (what should I do to see the error). You can use screenshots and video

Paste wp-admin + ftp acces to your  test site - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230222134241.png ->https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230222134615.png

And I'll add this to the adaptation queue.

Hello Pablo,

Thanks for your response.

To see the problem I am having you can visit the site at https://touchstonelink.com/.  You will see several events and the one I have done screenshots of is Frenchmen Foreplay.  You will notice that you see the prices underneath each picture.  You will also notice that some show in JMD (the ones with prices over 3 digits) and some show in USD. I dont know why this happens.  At times the prices are sometimes mixed for one event so you will see USD price - JMD price  which of course is very confusing.  I also cannot determine why that happens.

If you click on the event it will take you to the Single event page and this is where I have the main problem.  You will notice that the price shows but there is no Currency Symbol before the price.  So the customer does not know which currency is shown.  I have set the currency to show in Fox in WooCommerce.  It does this on the Cart and Checkout pages, but not on this Single Event page.  You will also notice that the currency switcher at the side does not show on the Single Event page.  Initially when I set up Fox several years ago, the switcher did work on this page and i used the option in the currency switcher that allows you to put in the pages that it does not show on to get them there, as I this page is automatically created when I set up an event and I do not know how to find it otherwise.  The switcher stopped working on this page at about this time last year and so I changed to only show the switcher on the Cart and Checkout as it does not make any changes to the price shown on the Single event page and this is confusing to customers.

The other problem is that at times, if the event has several pricing categories, some will show up in USD and some in JMD on the Single Event page, which is even more confusing to the customers.

In order to change the currency and see the converted pricing, you have to go to the Cart or the Checkout page and those work fine.

  1. I really would like to have the Single event page be able to use the currency switcher so that customers can immediately change when they go to this page.
  2. I would also like to make sure that all the prices on the Single event page stay in one currency or another , but do not show a mix of currencies
  3. I would like the currency symbols to show before the price on the Single Event page.

Please let me know if you can help.   I have put the relevant info you require for the staging site in the private area.

Thanks Marcia

Hello Pablo

Are you trying to login to the site and getting that error.?

Marcia

Hello Marcia

Yes.

Hello Marcia

Ok! I will check it

Hello

Our developer checked this and unfortunately rejected the adaptation.

The reason is that WOOCS is designed for woocommerce products. But these events are custom posts that have custom pricing functionality that is not related to woocommerce products. And customizing this third-party plugin will take a lot of time and resources.

Hello Pablo

I am very disappointed.  I had hoped that I could have even paid for the adaptation.  However, thank you for checking into this and responding.
