I have a website I am working on. It is hosted on cloudways. I researched your support forum for hours trying to get the plugin to work but no luck. I've had all sorts of weird scenarios happen such as currency shown was based on what the last visitor selected in terms of currency. The behaviour that I cannot seem to get around is that our store is in USD, however even when trying in incognito and on other browsers, every time I land on our homepage, the currency is always in USD and not the currency it should be based on GEO IP and IP of my tests...
However once, I click on the CTA on the homepage to proceed to checkout. I'm taken to checkout and the currency is correct. But I need it to be correct on the homepage also and this is not working no matter what combination of settings that I try to use.
I will add the login info to the website in the private info areas so that you can troubleshoot....

I created "TEST GeoIP" page(link in private data)
Can you please go to the home page of the website and test there? There are some prices of products on the homepage that I pull using short codes. As you can see in the video recording that I done (link in private data area)...the geo ip location changes which is fine. However the problem is that the currency doesn't change, which is the issue I'm experiencing. You'll also noticed in the video that I used a VPN to change from one country to another and that still didn't work. Can you please troubleshoot and see what is causing this issue for the currencies to not change?

Thank you for your responsiveness! I appreciate all the testing. My question is if you changed anything in the settings? Also when you switch to each tab, are you changing the ip or what's going on there?

are you changing the ip - Yes, IP changes. This is very important, for the test you need to simulate another user
Sorry I forgot to mention that I tried this solution before and critical performance issue below appears in the site health section of WP.
"An active PHP session was detected"
A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.

I don't think this should affect the site. But then try to configure - Memcached or Redis
I tried Memcached and Redis but with either of those 2 configurations, it doesn't work. Only when using PHP session it works as expected. Do you have any experience or any users that sued the plugin with PHP session configuration whilst it showed them the same error but over time didn't affect their website?
