My local currency is GBP and this is what customers should be being charged in. However I have had two orders from USA and these have been accepted in dollars. This has cost me money as I have to pay additional transaction fees to my payment provider for the 'conversion'.

As per the title I have"Is multiple allowed" set to NO

Hello

"Is multiple allowed"  - NO   - This setting converts prices only on the front end and does not actually change the currency.

Do you use any other currency converters?

What payment system plugin do you use?

What plugin version number are you using?

Hi,

Ok good to know - is there any other part of your plugin that would cause this?

I have used other currency converters but Fox is the only installed/activated plugin.

I use WooPayments/Stripe as well as PayPal - but the payment that came in dollars came through Stripe.

I am on version 2.4.0

Update the  plugin  to latest  version - https://currency-switcher.com/how-to-make-auto-update-for-wordpress-plugins-and-themes-bought-on-envato

Just a little feedback - It would really be great if we could put the licence in our forum profile instead of having to fish it out every time we make a topic.

Is there any way to have FOX Currency update automatically? Instead of having to download a new version every time?

Do you know of any bugs in my current version that may be causing this issue? Will the update actually solve anything or do I just have to wait for another order to find out if it's worked or not?

Hello

Is there any way to have FOX Currency update automatically? - Yes  please  try  to  resd this -  https://currency-switcher.com/how-to-make-auto-update-for-wordpress-plugins-and-themes-bought-on-envato

The old version had compatibility issues with caching plugins

Hi,

This issue is not solved.

I updated the plugin but received an order yesterday and the customer was still charged in USD not GBP.

I obviously have no idea why this issue is happening but the only plugin that modifies the currency at all is FOX Currency Switcher, I lost £10 on this order because of this bug and I cannot afford to lose money on every order. Could you please let me know if it is possible to understand and solve this bug with immediate effect, and if not then am I able to request a refund on my purchase of FOX Currency Switcher and I will change to another plugin.

I have updated again today to 2.4.1.3 but given this was not solved by the last update I really do not want to just 'wait and see' if my next order has additional fees because of this issue.

Hello

Hi,

I have added the details for the admin user to the private data.

Hello

Please add  the  link to your site

Added

I checked and the settings are ok

We had an incompatibility with Stripe - but this is only related to Stripe fee - https://currency-switcher.com/woocommerce-stripe-payment-gateway

So there is no solution to this?

Customers are still being charged in USD when purchasing from the USA - I am still paying an additional 2% on every sale because of this. This was not happening before I switched to FOX.

If this is not something that can be fixed then can you please organise a refund for my purchase of FOX currency switcher.

My plugin in these settings cannot switch currency.    In fact, with these settings, the plugin changes prices only at the front

Perhaps clients cannot make a payment in GBP (which is logical if they are from the USA), in this case the conversion must take place on the bank’s side

You can  make  request  here - https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new

But I think this does not depend on the plugin and I advise you to do a test with the plugin disabled

I have switched to another plugin for now, I will see when the next order comes in if this changes things.

If the conversion took place at their bank then they would be charged this fee themselves (this is intentional, as many new cards offer 0% fee international money exchange), however it is my Stripe payment portal that is charging the fee to me.

Hello

This plugin cannot affect banking transactions.

OK, I'll wait for the test results

Hi,

Thanks, I will update when I know what's happening. I understand that your plugin should not be affecting this but I cannot see what else has changed, as this fee was not happening before.

It is of course possible that I have made another change that is the cause and I am laying blame incorrectly. Either way I hope I can narrow it down.

Ok!  Thank  you

So it took quite a time before another USA order came in. That happened today and I can confirm that the customer was charged in GBP and as such there was no conversion fee applied. The only thing that changed was disabling FOX and enabling a different switcher plugin.

So for whatever reason your plugin was to blame for cards being charged in USD, I can think of no other reason.

Hello

Thank you for your cooperation
