how to upgrade from free version?

Hi, i've paid for the pro version and downloaded the zip, but don't know how to upgrade the plugin from the existing free version (ideally without losing the current settings). Ive search the faq's on currency-switcher.com but cant find any info on how to upgrade, or install it.
Any help or tips appreciated.
I also cant find any reference or link to currency switcher documentation on the currency-switcher.com site or this site (other than the FAQ). Anyone know where it is?
