Hi, hoping you can help...
For some reason, Google is extracting the wrong currency information and displaying it as such in its search results.
We are running your geo currency converter, using CAD and USD currencies, to display the correct pricing to all potential customers in N. America.
The plugin works fine on the website. The issues lie with data being pulled into google.
The home / base currency on the website is set to CAD (in both Woocommerce and Woocs) - see image below.
Google is interpreting the website input price as USD (not the home currency - CAD), and then displaying the CAD price at approx 30% higher due to google automatically converting the wrong input currency (also showing CAD pricing as USD to US located customers - making all prices on google 30% higher to our target audiences - irrespective of location - Canada / US).
Checking in google search console, all my products are indicated as being in USD (see photo).
In the example below, you will see that the product is listed on the website for $28,740 CAD. However google is extracting the price in USD and displaying it as such in their search console, and subsequently on their search engine results.
Any help is greatly received.
