fox messing up my analytics

Hi,

 

can you please tell me why, on an order, the Net Sales of that order showed"£2300" (in Anlaytics), when they payed in yen and so the real number i expected was £12.

On the actual order payed it displayed the correct amounts i expect, in yen, to my paypal, and paypal shows the correct amount entering for that order.

 

So I tried to use the"Update Currency Option", in a hope that it would refresh the order somehow.

I selected"GBP" to recaculate the order as GBP, then turned it back to JPY,

but now I see this:

Just silly numbers.

Order Total:¥524,814
Paid:¥524,814

The net payout stays the same thankfully, and the net sales of that order (in Analytics) also have reset so it says £12 instead of £2300.
This is all very confusing and easy to break.

Hello Dario

For analytics, a rate is needed to convert to the base currency

I just did a little test:

  • created new order on site front using JPY currency
  • then entered in to the created order on wp admin
  • using widget FOX info clicked on change order currency
  • selected base currency
  • convert
  • all rates are converted according to currency rates

What can be the reason is the conflict with another plugins or event current wp theme if it in its file functions.php has any code for orders manipulations. You can do next for test on your side:

  • deactivate all plugins (set default theme also for any case) except FOX & WOO
  • create test order using JPY
  • make convertation

Should be all ok - this mean any plugin in the conflict, so you can enable it and then repeat the test to define what on is the reason. But if no luck - please in the secret area of the current ticket share with me wp-admin access to your site. If any problems with security or/and the site is alive please create on test subdomain your site clone using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ - its even better
