Dear Pluginus,

For our woocommerce theme we are using your WOOF - Products Filter and unfortunately when we click on the 'Filter button' during the setup nothing happens but when we search with the 'magnifying glass menu' everything works fine. I attach a picture where you can see the categories added but no reaction when the filter button is pressed.
I hope I can get some information on how to fix this.

Many thanks

Hello

Please  drop me  exact  link to  the  issue

this behavior often happens if the theme has a third-party popup sidebar functionality and this functionality uses ajax. In this case, the filter will not work with a third-party sidebar template.

Hi,

Sadly the site is private but I can send you in private the WP logins for it where I can send you email, telegram, whatsapp or here? :)

Waiting your reply!

Marton

Hello Marton

Yes, it looks like the problem is that the sidebar is loaded dynamically (uses ajax). Try turning it off in the theme options or try a different theme for testing.

Hi,
Just I know about this ajax issue we can't really manage to solve it, any chance that you can help? We need with this theme no problem if you'll ask extra charge for the help we just need it ASAP really!
Thank you.

Hello

There are two options for solving the problem

  1. disable ajax for sidebar
  2. Find the event in the JS theme that is called after the sidebar is rendered. And initialize the filter functions on this event
