Hello

Since yesterday we have been having an error when using the currency switcher. We have not made any changes to the site but suddenly started getting this message.  It happens when we switch from one currency to another.  Please advise if you are able to suggest what is causing this problem.

I have the FOX - Currency Switcher Professional for WooCommerce v.1.4.1.1 on my live site and the FOX - Currency Switcher Professional for WooCommerce v.1.4.0 on the staging site that I sent to you. Both of them give the same issue.

That option was actually disabled when we started having the issue.  I actually only activated it to see if it made a difference to the redirects.  We have managed to find a work around by only allowing the switcher to show on the checkout and cart pages only which seems to allow the switcher to work.  Initially we had it also showing on the EVENT Page (shown below) and it would not work on this page at all.   It used to work on this page quite well so not sure why it stopped.

I can't say because I haven't seen this code. But I guess:  A third party plugin may have drop down events that conflict with the currency switch events. And this at some point can cause recursive execution of the redirection function.

In this case, you should study the JS code( for my plugin this is - \woocommerce-currency-switcher\js\front.js )

OR

It's unlikely, but it could also be an incorrectly configured SSL certificate on the server
