End sale date not working properly with fixed prices

I have a product with a sale date offer with a start and end dates, but I noticed the end date does not work with a fixed price on the product.

When the sale ended, the main price in USD showed up properly on the frontend: https://i.ibb.co/TP25XFV/woocs3.png
But when checking the price in ARS, which in this case is a fixed price, it still shows the sale price on the frontend (see the"13% OFF" text): https://i.ibb.co/DL3bM1P/woocs2.png
Is this by design or am I experiencing issues with my installation? If it's by design, can a change of behavior be implemented in future updates so fixed prices change when the sale date ends?

Unfortunately fixed prices do not depend on the sale period. I passed it on to the developers
