Default Currency Has Stopped Displaying

Our online store has been setup and working successfully for a number of years now. However, recently I noticed that instead of the default currency of AUD appearing, USD currency is displayed, even though I am based in Australia.
I have dropped in a Woocs shortcode to test this out, and you will note that the GeoIP registers correctly that I am in Australia. In the same screenshot, you will see that the product price is displaying in USD.

I have the latest versions of WordPress, our Avada theme, and Fox Currency Switcher Professional.

Please pay attention to the logic of the GeoIP functionality on our plugin: The plugin changes the currency depending on the user's location only on the first visit to the site. Next, the plugin stores the user's last currency. It is very important that after the first visit to the site the user can switch currencies.

Thank you for explaining the GeoIP functionality in your plugin. It's got me thinking about the circumstances under which a user's currency would change after their first login. Would a good example be that they are travelling and access our online store from a different location/country?
In any case, it sounds like I should add the currency switcher drop-down to our site so users can choose their currency?

transient - the user's currency storage key is his IP. this means that if the user changed the network - the key changes and therefore is perceived as a new visit. Or several users are connected to the same network (for example, home wifi) - this is perceived as one user and have one currency
session\FOX Session - in this case the key is linked to the browser, i.e. if the user changes the device it will be like a new visit
