Custom currency symbols

Hi there,
I'm trying to set up custom currency symbols to show CA$ and AUD$ instead of just the dollar sign $ which is for USD.
I've set up custom symbols but they're not showing up on the product/cart/checkout page or anywhere else. Only the dollar symbols shows for CAD and AUD (euro and pound symbols show fine for EUR and GBP).
I'm using Goya theme. Could you please advise on how to achieve this? Thank you!

Some themes or plugins may change the price template, in this case they can override the price template and custom symbol
