Dear Admin,

 

We are using your plugin WooCommerce Currency Switcher with license: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx which is still valid as you can verify the same. We are using your plugin to switch between 4 currencies, XCD (Eastern Caribbean Dollar) as the base currency where as the USD, Canadian Dollar and GBP as the secondary currencies. Our website payment gateway is PayPal Checkout and the default currency for that is USD. Our operations have been running smoothly for the past  couple of months that we are encountering currency errors like 10650 & 10444. PayPal support puts that the error is due to our system. What we have found out is that at the checkout the PayPal API sends the final call in the base currency i.e. XCD instead of USD and so our customers encounter the aforementioned errors. By deactivating your plugin and adding USD as the store currency made all the operation smooth and the order was processed. But as we need to keep your plugin being helpful so can you suggest us how to tackle this issue?

if paypal does not support XCD, it does not depend on our plugin.

if you mean that this error appears when the user pays in any currency(USD,CAD or GBP) - Please  drop  me  wp-admin+FTP access to your test site  I will  check  it

You are right, but our system is set to pay in USD, and at the check out page the same option appears, i.e. the price is changed from xcd to usd. But even then payapal api sends the call based on XCD (please note that our base currency is XCD). Whereas in the past with same settings there was no issue for us. Thank you for your support, the system seems working now as I have checked it with the sandbox testing. So hopefully it will work fine with the live API as well. I am curious what went wrong that we faced the error codes, and how to eliminate such risks in the future.
