I needed to change the sign of pound to the US dollar sign and the amounts too. The Currency converter changed only the signs but not the amounts. How can I get the amounts switched from pounds to dollars?

The dollar sign is okay, but the figures have not converted from pounds to dollars.
I'm using the Woo Commerce program. I'm not sure this helps. Let me know.
