Hello,

I recently migrated to a new Cloudways server and changed my Wordpress cache plugin to fit what is recommended by my new provider: Cloudways.

Right now, the currency seems to be cached for all users, which means that if a user visits a page first it will create a cached version of it that will also includes its own currency, that will zen be served to all users visiting the page until the cache expires.

I tried to change several settings in the Options tab of the plugin, but still run on this issue.

Here are some of my settings:

  • Currency storage: FOX Session, but I also tried PHP Session and Transient
  • No GET data in link: Enabled
  • I am using cache plugin on my site: Enabled

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello

Please give me the path to your site. Because all sites with this access do not have my plugin

Hello, thank you for checking. The path has been added to the private data in this thread.

Hello

Ok!  https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20240509122135.png - I don't see my plugin folder - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20240509122253.png

Hello,

There is a Wordpress in the root for a blog type website and another Wordpress install in a store/ folder, this is where the plugin is.

/public_html/store/wp-content/plugins

Hello

It looks like you have JS file caching enabled on the server side. Can you disable this temporarily?

Because now I can't change the JS code for the test

Hello,

JS files should not be cached for https://nipponrama.com/store/* anymore. They are still for the root Wordpress install, but I guess that should not be a problem, since the plugin is installed on https://nipponrama.com/store/

Hello

Unfortunately js is cached and I can't change it

Hello Pablo,

I deactivated all caching plugins, bypassed Cloudflare, removed Varnish. So it should not be cached now.

Hello

Ok! But now there is another problem, now everything works well. In this case I can't explore it

\wp-content\plugins\woocommerce-currency-switcher\js\front.js - you can add this file to the exception

Hello Pablo,

We reverted everything back and applied a caching exception on this file wherever we could.

Hello

Ok!  I did  a test. Now everything is working correctly
