Hi. We have a shop that is selling wordwide but mostly to USA. The shop is in Sweden and therefore, the currency is i SEK in Woocommerce as a base. The welcome currency in shop is in USD. We use a payment plugin from Northmill and they say that the currency is in USD instead of SEK, when the request is coming to them. Can you please help us find out what the problem is?

I created a test payment  - #16987.  And it looks like this is the correct currency in EUR

Hi, ok. I guess you are in Europe? So EUR is alright. But it have to be in SEK when the request to Northmill sends. We have paused the payment (Northmill Checkout - NMI Pay – Northmill - Pay with credit card). Can you see in which currency the request is?

We are currently using your plugin on a WooCommerce webshop, which adjusts product prices dynamically based on the customer’s location — for example, showing prices in USD for users in the US and in EUR for users in Europe. This part is working as expected.

However, we’ve encountered an issue when it comes to payment processing. Our payment gateway provider requires that all transactions must be processed in SEK (Swedish Krona), regardless of which currency is displayed to the customer on the front end.

At the moment, your plugin is passing the converted currency (USD or EUR) to the payment gateway, which leads to transaction errors and failed payments.

We need the plugin to ensure that the actual request sent to the payment gateway is always in SEK, even though the prices shown to the customer may be in another currency.

Is there a way to configure the plugin to achieve this behavior, or could this be implemented as a feature?

Unfortunately, the plugin does not have such a feature, the plugin will transfer to the payment system the currency that the user sees on the checkout page
