I have some issue on currency exchange on my website.

A customer bought a product and paid $35.77 USD totally and I received $36.40 CAD.

I don't know the calculation and I think there is something wrong!

Hello

Please  drop  me  exact  link to the  issue( to  your  site)

I have a currency exchange on my website. Customers can order in USD or CAD. CAD is the main currency.

Last week I received an order from a customer from US and found that this error occurred. Besides that, I found that when a customer tries to change the currency, my website doesn't work well and it needs to refresh twice to load everything in order!

Hello

What plugin version number are you using?

Are you using JS optimization?  OR  Have you customized the plugin code?  The thing is that I don't see the initialization of some very important JS variables

I am using

FOX - Currency Switcher Professional for WooCommerce

Currency Switcher for WooCommerce that allows to the visitors and customers on your woocommerce store site switch currencies and optionally apply selected currency on checkout

Version 1.4.1.5 | By realmag777 | View details

I am not sure, but I know my site developer customize some JS to make it faster! it might be that!

I am also using

Jetpack Boost

Do you use a third-party plugin to calculate taxes?

Here you can find a list of plugins I am using on my website:

Hello

Please  disable  these  plugins - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231211110342.png - and do a test

I deactive all those plugins and it is still the same! When some one pay $100 in USD it gives me $100 CAD!

Also in order notes I see following notes in order;

A payment of C$ 23.00 CAD was successfully charged using WooPayments  (While it should be USD!)

Fee (3.9% + C$0.30): C$-1.20

● Base fee: 2.9% + C$0.30

● International card fee: 1%

Net deposit: C$21.80 CAD

Hello

Ok! Is this just one incident or is it a recurring error?

Does the error only occur when paying by card?

It happens when a customer pays with a credit card. Google Pay doesn't have this issue and it works properly.

I am not sure, but it seems that the currency exchange plugin doesn't work properly. I have CAD as the main currency and USD as the other one. It happens when a customer does not change the currency to USD manually. It seems that the amount that the customer has to pay is deducted from his account in USD and it is paid to me the same amount in CAD. (1.00 USD = 1.36 CAD)

Also, the currency exchange plugin doesn't realize the customer's location and doesn't change automatically. so this happens when a customer from US does not change the currency to USD manually!

Hello

does your payment account (bank) allow you to accept payments in other currencies?

Looks like you're using Stripe

Can you drop me  wp-admin access  - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230222134241.png ->  https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20230222134615.png - I  will  check  settings OR  drop me  screenshot  of the  plugin(FOX) settings

the currency exchange plugin doesn't realize the customer's location  -  Please read  this - https://currency-switcher.com/using-geolocation-causes-problems-doesnt-seem-to-work-for-me

My banking account accepts USD as I am in North America.

Sent you the access Info

Hello

settings seem ok

Can I make several test payments? - https://c2n.me/4jZ2pQj.png

Sure

Hello

Unfortunately I didn't pay attention to this earlier

Please disable this functionality - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20231219144152.png - and  do  a test. Two currency converters will never work correctly
