Currency changing/incorrect when product added to cart

Our store is in GBP, we're UK based. The example product in the image link below is £2, when converted to USD is $2.67. When adding the product to the cart, the amount is showing approx £2.67, USD is $3.57. Am I missing something here in the settings, why is the USD price being changed to GBP in the cart and the product is being increased in price overall?

Right now my plugin is disabled and I can't check it
You have wp admin rights, are you unable to activate it from your side? You have permission to activate it. I've had to deactivate it until support arrives as it was causing issues.

Of course I can't enable my plugin because by all indications (you disabled my plugin) it's a live site. And even a short turn on can be the cause of incorrect orders and loss of money. And I can't take on this responsibility without your consent.
