Hi there, our server hosting provider (Siteground) has advised that the Fox Currency Switcher plugin is adding a cookie to the site that is preventing the use of Siteground's dynamic cache. Consequently our server resources are being overloaded.

We previously had problems with Google detecting the wrong currency on some pages (and disapproving the products), hence we enabled the"I am using cache plugin on my site" option. It's crucial that we don't affect the PPC campaigns with Google, but is there a way we can make changes that allow the use of the dynamic cache whilst not compromising the PPC?

I will add our license key and WP-Admin credentials to the private area.

Thanks.

Hello

Ok! please try to use - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20241101101959.png and  do a  test

Hi Pablo, thank you for this, we have changed the setting and will let you know if it has the right effect.

The other thing Siteground told us is that the plugin is calling a lot of admin-ajax.php executions, which are also putting strain on the server. Is there a way we can reduce them?

Thanks again,

Simon

Hello Simon

OK! Please disable this option - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20241104104227.png

Hi Pablo. Thank you - I made this change, but the currency switcher stopped working and was simply showing the blue loading animation. Any suggestions?

Hello

I checked your site - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20241112103119.png - it seems to work correctly

Hi Pablo, that's because I re-activated"I am using Cache plugin on my site". The situation is:

1 - When"I am using Cache plugin on my site" is ACTIVATED, the currency switcher works ok, but there is a large amount of admin-ajax.php requests.

2 - When"I am using Cache plugin on my site" is DE-ACTIVATED, the admin-ajax.php requests are reduced, but the currency switcher does not work and only the blue loading animation shows.

Is there another configuration that might solve this?

Many thanks.

Hello

ok! I did a test - https://share.pluginus.net/video/v20241113105751.mp4  - Everything works correctly with this setting enabled and disabled.
