Hi

Is it possible to have check boxes that can have an"OR" condition/query - this is so the user can select multiple manufactures for example.

You can see this example here - https://www.idealo.co.uk/cat/7773F410293-462275/lawn-mowers.html

The visitor can select a manufacture and then add another they like.

Many thanks

Mark

Hello Mark

Yes, the filter works like this by default

Please  try  free  version - https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-meta-data-filter-and-taxonomy-filter/

Hi Pablo

Many thanks for your quick reply.

I am testing the free version. When I click on a brand checkbox like like"Flymo" for example, I can't then click on another brand like"Bosch" so the results will show posts with both Flymo OR Bosch. I want the condition on the next checkbox to be"OR" and not"AND".

For Example, on your demo site https://general.wp-filter.com/category/real-estate-posts/ I would like the user to be able to click"Finished" and"Unfinished" to get 19 results.

Sorry if this does not make sense.

Thanks

Mark

Hello

It looks like you have a conflict with a third-party software.

By default, within the same taxonomy, the comparison logic is"OR".  to change the logic to"And" you need customization of the code -  https://wp-filter.com/howto/how-to-set-logic-and-for-taxonomies-terms-of-the-same-taxonomy/

Hi

Thanks you so much for your help. I was trying to do this with custom fields - changed to Taxonomy and all is now working.

Thanks again for your help.

Kind regards

Mark
