Hi there,

Wanted to ask if there is a way to change the currency of an existing order, not a new one.

in my admin orders page i see the plugin button"change order currency".

  • if I create a new order and click the button before i add any products everything work as expected
  • If I try to change an existing order and click the button the result i get is the different currency symbol but the amount stay the same....

Example:

  • I have an existing order with a total amount of 100 NIS
  • I click on the"change order currency" button and chose USD
  • I now see a total amount of 100 $
  • the orders currency was changed but the order and items amount was not converted

Is there a way to solve that and allow my shop admins to change the currency of existing orders?

but it gives me a wrong conversion:

 

  1. i have created a new order in ILS with a single product at price of 40 NIS and saved it
  2. i have enter the order and change the currency to USD
  3. as a result i see the same amount - 40 only in USD
  4. i have click on recalculate order - i got 129.58 NIS, looks lite it did the conversion but instead of dividing 40 NIS with the NIS USD rate (about  3.2 nis for 1 usd)

how can i fix that?

 it did the conversion but instead of dividing 40 NIS with the NIS USD rate (about  3.2 nis for 1 usd) -  Is your base currency NIS?  To convert, the amount is multiplied by the rate
