Change default currency for all website

Hi,
I would like to change the default currency (make it USD instead of EUR) from all website. Do I just need to change in"option" >"welcome currency" and toggle USD instead of EUR? Or are there additional steps to enfore? For instance will I have to change all the prices of my products so that I convert them to the new default price ?

"welcome currency" - It's just the currency that is displayed (switched) on the front when the user visits the site for the first time.
the default currency - This is the currency in which all product prices are stored. If you change this you should change all product prices.
Thanks for your answer. Could you tell me how to change the default currency? When I'm in General setting it redirects me to your pluggin but can't see where to find the general currency switch.
