Quote from i.neumann@bezares.com on June 12, 2020, 13:14Hello,
We bought this plugin to make it easier for searching PTOs compatible with certains gearboxes in bezares here: https://bezares.com/product-family/ptos/allison/
But in other languages where the taxonomy isnt translated (we have thousands of those and 9 languages) its not working: https://bezares.com/product-family/ptos/allison/
Also, after making it works we will need to make it faster, turbo mode isnt really fast and not hiding empty terms make thousands of options available... (a search field?)
Any way to make it work on every region without having to translate thousands of terms in many languages?
Best Regards,
Igor

My plugin works correctly with WPML.
If you translated taxonomies using WPML, the plugin should display the correct titles
Read this - https://products-filter.com/searching-is-slow/

Global english (where the products / taxonomies are located): https://bezares.com/product-family/ptos/allison/
Spanish (products translated, taxonomies with fallback): https://bezares.com/es/categoria-producto/ptos-es/allison-es/
English UK (Fallsback everything): https://bezares.com/en-gb/product-family/ptos-en-gb/allison-en-gb/It doesnt work on fallback regions.

https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/Our page is in 9 languages, if we translate every resource for every language our already BIG database will be 5x its size, the gearbox taxonomy we use to filter would have 20k+ terms instead of 2,5k. It would generate performance issues everywhere.
Thanks,
Igor

You did not translate these taxonomies
But my plugin must translate these taxonomies.right?
This plugin uses standard functionality to display the name of the term and does not affect the translation
Please disable turbo mode.

NO, THEY ARE ALL IN THE FALLBACK REGION, JUST LIKE MOST OF THE PRODUCTS.But my plugin must translate these taxonomies.right?
NO, IT SHOULD JUST USE THEM TO FILTERTurbo mode is disabled but then we NEED to also disable "hide empties" and "dynamic recount" otherwise the page gets unusable...
Without that functionality its not suitable for this usage as you have 1000s of terms with items in just a couple of them.ANY way to use this plugin with wpml fallback?
We also have a staging website I can give you access.

This plugin does not affect translation.
My plugin uses the standard and correct way to display names $term->name and there is no other way
You can drop me wp-admin+FTP access I will check it.

Quote from i.neumann@bezares.com on June 23, 2020, 13:33Ok, I just added a admin user for our staging environment and left the FTP and admin user data in the hidden field.
What we cant make work: Filter in fallback regions.
English UK (WORKS - main region): http://desarrollo.bezares.com/product-family/mercedes/
Spain (Doesnt work - Fallback region - ES): http://desarrollo.bezares.com/es/categoria-producto/ptos-es/mercedes-es/By fallback we mean regiouns that DONT HAVE products or taxonomies but WPML display the main region's one.
I guess its not compatible with WPML fallback feature... if thats the case, will it be?
Is a refund (or change for a plugin thats useful for us) possible? We did missed the deadlines due to the company being mostly closed during the pandemic.

Is a refund (or change for a plugin thats useful for us) possible? - Unfortunately, incompatibility with a third-party plugin is not a reason to the refund
I checked the code but can't fix it. I will write to the WPML developers with this problem

Quote from i.neumann@bezares.com on June 25, 2020, 08:35"Unfortunately, incompatibility with a third-party plugin is not a reason to the refund"
I suggest then to remove the "✔ Compatible with WPML" info from its description or at least expand its information to correctly inform the partial compatibility... The dynamic recount cant be tested with the free version so there is no way to know its not totally compatible before buying it and the information in its description is misleading.
If making it compatible (THAT would be awesome) or a refund aren't possible, maybe you could switch for a license to a different plugin that is useful for us from your collection as a compromise?
Would that be possible? That way none of us lost the money.

The dynamic recount cant be tested with the free version - Dynamic recount works fine in the free version
Unfortunately I do not manage licenses. Please look at the private data.
