Always show parent categories

Hi, I'm trying to accomplish the opposite of the user who posted here: https://prnt.sc/19a8p01. Basically I have a product category archive page, and when you go that category archive I want all categories to display in the category filter, with just the current one checked (instead, right now it only display the children of the current category). Can you help me achieve that? Thanks!

On the category page, you can show ONLY products that belong to the category OR child category. It makes sense to show only child categories( of the current category ), because clicking on any other category will always give zero products )
