Hi Fox Currency Switcher support, I hope you are doing well!

I just wanted to reach out and ask for some of your wisdom regarding your plugin.

I use Fox Currency Switcher alongside Dokan on my website and I am considering getting custom development done on the Fox plugin to allow for Dokan products to be created in a user's chosen currency. I just wanted to ask if you think this would be a bad idea for any reason? Or if it is not a bad idea, if you have any words of advice about how a developer might go about doing it? I know Dokan is a third party plugin and you may have little or no knowledge about it, but figured I would ask in case because I know you have a Dokan code snippet for integration with their orders.

Thank you for your time and great work!

Hello

Unfortunately the plugin does not have such a feature. The problem is that all prices must be stored in the same currency

Hi Pablo, thank you very much for your response. Do you have any idea why prices must be stored in the same currency? I assume this is because the plugin is not set up to keep a memory of the currency the product is created in, and instead needs all the products to be created in the same currency so it can convert it from there, correct? If that is correct, custom development could keep a memory of the currency used for each product when it is created, couldn't it? Thank you for your time and wisdom.

Hello

Yes, you are right.  The main problem is to convert the prices of such products into one currency before mathematical operations (cart, checkout, order, analytics, taxes, grouped, etc.)

To implement this feature, you can hire a third-party developer, we can help with questions related to our plugin

Hi Pablo, thank you very much for your response explaining this and your willingness to help if needed, it is greatly appreciated! All the best.

welcome;)
