I created a page using Elementor and dragged the WOOF element into the page from the Wordpress widgets section.  I can see that I can access its properties, however, I want to limit the categories shown and I understand I can do it by modifying the short code.  how do I access the short code?

Hello

Read  this  please - https://products-filter.com/shortcode/woof/

that link says nothing of relevance to my question.  the link describes how to configure the short code, not how to access it when the page that contains it was created using Elementor.  does your product not work with Elementor pages?

Hello Erik

that link says nothing of relevance to my question. - Ok!   -  https://c2n.me/48FnW84.png - my answer is the link to the documentation(shortcode  woof) - https://c2n.me/48Fo8FF.png - this is the settings to change the filter parameters( show / hide taxonomies, associate a filter with a specific taxonomy )

if I do not understand you, describe the problem in more detail

Instead of a widget, use a shortcode

"access  to the short code" -  What do you mean?
