I am running into an odd issue that someone else documented here:

https://wordpress.org/support/topic/index-sitemap-showing-one-extra-blank-sitemap/

I am getting the exact same issue where there is an empty sitemap generated an error in the index file.

I have also confirmed this seems to be caused by the product filter.

Is this a known issue and is there a work around to ensure the blank line is not in the index?  Is there a Woof setting + Yoast setting I am just missing to ensure the index is generated properly?

Thanks!

I did find if I compleyete disable the SEO URL request extension that line goes away.  I tried messing with the settings while it was on but could not get it to generate any valid sitemap into the index file though.  I read some of the docs but maybe someone has a sort of"best practice" config for using the extension that may help.
