Wrong product count showing in filter when products out of stock

I have recently taken over a site from someone.
On this site i have set woocommerce to not show out of stock products in the catalogue. Now i notice that when browsing the site, you still see the product count in the filter. But when you click on the filter, you see no, or if there are some active products in the category, less products then indicated in the filter count.
Try this page for example: bit.ly/woof-filter
If you use the link i provided and click for example on Among US category. Count is showing 5, but all products are out of stock, so nothing is shown in the results. I would like to hide the filters of products which are not in stock, as long as i have set out of stock products hidden in woocommerce. How can i do that?
