Hi

My site runs 2 languages. English and Spanish. English being the primary language.

I have an attribute called"Country of Origin". This attribute has been translated with WPML to"Pais de origen".

In the frontend, after I have chosen to display the label through"Show title label", the result is this:

English:
"Product Country of Origin" - Adds"Product" to the attribute name

Spanish:
"Country of Origin del producto" - I have absolutely no idea where this label comes from or how it is contructed.

I have tried to use the builtin WPML converter that the plugin has and tried to search through the WPML string translation tables without any luck.

The problem is currently visible at https://www.staging100.nuninja.es/es/ninjashop/

All help is greatly appreciated.

Best regards
Dagur

Hello Dagur

Please  read  this   - https://products-filter.com/working-with-wpml/

Try  in  your  case:

es:Country of Origin^Pais de origen

Hi

That suggestion doesn't work. I tried to simplify the labels but haven't been able to get it to work.

From what I have been able to gather to plugin uses, when attributes are involved, the WPML text string translation

Product %s * - (en)
%s del producto - (es)

and it ends up with the string"Country" replacing the %s in the ES version.

I have put the following in the plugin without success

es:Country^Pais

Both the singular and plural versions of the name are registered with WPML
Country = País
Product Country = País de producto

But it seems that the plugin doesn't have a lookup to that.

Any ideas/solutions are welcomed

Hello

Ok!  My  test  - https://c2n.me/4c6N4kL

Hi

Yeb. But the initial problem is that the manual translation doesn't seem to"hit" until the filter is removed and re-added to the widget or page. That made the debugging quite strange.

Thx for the help
Best regards

Hello Dagur

Not. I did it for you without any outside manipulation
