Hi,

The servers our website are using started crashing out of no where. I contacted our hosting provider as I thought it was a server related issue.

It turns out, after 2 days of troubleshooting and our websites constantly crashing, it was due to the WooCommerce products filter plugin.

I've recorded a video showing how the CPU usage changes as soon as we activate the plugin on our website. What's weird is that we did not change anything in the plugin settings, this just started randomly happening 2 days ago.

I have also feedback from our hosting provider that it was the overloading of MySQL queries created which I assume now is from the plugin, that caused the server/websites to crash.

In terms of the video I recorded, is there any way to forward this to you privately as I would not like to be sharing it publicly on a forum. I can also share the queries, feedback privately via email perhaps if you can provide me with this?

FYI - We are running Version 3.3.0 of the plugin and have purchase a pro licence.

Thanks!

Hello

Please paste your license key here - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130558.png -> https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130614.png and  any private  data - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130637.png

Sure, just done this now. Please let me know if you need more info to investigate.

It is very strange!

The plugin itself does not make queries to the database.

Please  add wp-admin  access - https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130558.png ->https://share.pluginus.net/image/i20210618130637.png - I will check the plugin settings

It's very strange indeed. I've provided the login info for you to further investigate.

please  try  to do  a test

I activated the plugin and it seems to be working, but CPU still shot up from like 20%/30% usage to 60/70% usage. I also noticed you turned off empty values and dynamic recount, right?

Any update on this topic?

Hello

I also noticed you turned off empty values and dynamic recount, right? - yes! Because for dynamic recalculation, the filter must query the database for each term. If you have several thousand terms, the plugin will always make these requests before displaying. and of course if you have a lot of products makes these queries more difficult
