WOOF + Elementor, categories disapear

I'm posting because I have a problem with the product category checkboxes.
When I click on a sub-category (or even a main category) the others disappear.
But for example if I clicked on a sub-category, the other sub-categories remain.
Did I set something up wrong?

Clarification:
I tested with a basic theme, without elementor.
I even exported the settings from another site where it works correctly (in case I didn't compare the settings properly).
