When ajax is enabled pagination and product sorting break each other.

When ajax is disabled everything works fine but we do need ajax to work.

We are talking about Sorting the products, not filtering them.
Sorting - at the right side of the page, says relevance on the clip.
How to reproduce:
1. Go to the page
2. Sort by price (High to low for example)
3. Go to the next page
4. The products are not sorted.
When Ajax is disabled in the plugin, sorting works.

We did this and it worked but is this going to be a permanent solution as updating the plugin will revert those changes.
Will this be integrated in a new version for example and is it a conflict with another of our plugins or theme (DIVI).
We wish for this to be resolved permanently.
