Hello,

I would like to add the meta field of a variation images gallery plugin but I’m not sure what data type it requires. Array probably? As its name suggests, the plugin allows to add multiple images per variation for Woocommerce variable product.

Thank you for your clarification,

Regards

Hello

Unfortunately, I cannot know how the third-party plugin stores data.

But usually the gallery is stored as a string (image IDs separated by commas)

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. The problem with string as data type is that it’s not possible to upload images. How can I get a field type like the default image gallery as shown on this screencast? https://www.loom.com/share/92e54f498761420e878bec1fd676f8b3

Thanks,

Regards

Hello

This is only possible for the standard gallery

Unfortunately the plugin cannot do this with a custom meta field.

Hi,

Ok. Then, in order to upload gallery images for product variations, I will have to constantly switch between the plugin and Woocommerce. It’s too bad.

Thank you for your reply,

Regards

Hello

We will pass this to the developers. Perhaps they will add this functionality.

Hello,

Great idea! Please, update me if this functionality is added in the plugin.

Thank you,

Kind regards
