Hi,

We are facing a rather bizzare issue.

When filtering with SKU of variable products the variations doesn't display, like:

https://prnt.sc/fb1RSJUloFuX and https://prnt.sc/J364XD49XsXd

however if i remove the sku https://prnt.sc/J7TTazug-_2m and https://prnt.sc/SoKInK37DcuT

the variations work as expected

of course we don't want to filter with product id and sku at the same time. This has only be done for demonstration of the issue.

Our goal is to only filter with SKU and work with the variations.

Thank you in advance for your time,

Menelaos

Hello Menelaos

The fact is that the search by ID and SKU works for parental and variable products. In your case, the variants are hidden because they have a different SKU

Hi Pablo,

As you can verify from the last screenshot they don't.

All variations SKU are empty which means that they share the parent's SKU.

maybe it's something else, or am i missing something?

kind regards,

Menelaos

All variations SKU are empty which means that they share the parent's SKU.  - This means that your variable products do not have SKUs. This means that these products will not be included in the SKU search results.
