Translating WOOF filter with WPML

since I can't seem to translate attributes labels within WPML I've followed this method https://products-filter.com/working-with-wpml to translate the filter from italian to english, but it doesn't work with a Taxonomy custom label that uses a Hierarchy drop down.
This is the the label:
I've tried these translations:
en:Costruttore+Modello^Brand+Model
en:Costruttore e modello^Machine brand and Model
but it doesn't work:
how can it be successfully translated?
